Had an afternoon tea for 6 adults and one child. It was beautiful and had boxes to take home for cakes etc. Totally recommend lovely venue, staff and food.

Nice food although a real shame they stopped the lunchtime menu as its just so expensive for a lunchtime treat (2 3 course meals with drinks for 2 and a kids chicken and chips was about 80)Chef was friendly and come with a small dessert for out 2 year old and also made him chicken and chips as they dont have a kids menu.Overall would recommend and will definitely use again but would use much more regular if they were to bring back the set lunchtime menu they had.
An interesting mixture of modern and traditional - the building is very modern, but the theatre and the seating are clearly quite aged! It's OK though as it gives the place character. I sat near the back of the upper circle and was still able to clearly see and hear the action on the stage. My only criticism is that it was unbearably hot in the theatre during the performance!
