Best fish and chip shop in town. Used to be called Crosbys. I took my Catalan friends there for a fish and chip lunch and they loved it!
What a lovely place, the staff were excellent and the food fantastic. We went for the 7.50 fish and chip meal which included mushy peas, bread and butter and a drink of your choice, you even get to choose between cod or haddock. The food and service was brilliant!
Just returned home after having the fish and chip afternoon tea, well where do I start, the fish was the tastiest I've had in years the batter was perfect,the chips were red hot with bread and butter mushy peas and drinks of your choice (tea coffee and soft drinks) then the cake stand which comprised of 6 different types of cake and every one was delicious and to top it off a scone(which looked home made) with strawberry jam clotted cream that was quite simply stunning, the staff were brilliant attentive and very friendly with nothing to much for them all I can say is I've had afternoon tea in many establishments both near and far and this was by far head and shoulders above them all thank you Frazers for such an enjoyable experience will definitely be back
