Interesting historic building, helpful pleasant owners and staff. Very big but very tired bedrooms and bathrooms. Plumbing struggles a bit.
Went this afternoon for a friend's retirement do. I can say without a doubt, I ate the best Scotch egg I have ever eaten today. If you are there and it's on the menu I would strongly advise trying one!
Tried to book to stay here availability good prices okay a bit expensive asked about dinner fixed times which were okay but with us was a child not allowed in the dining room . No children under 10 allowed in , the hotel called us back to say we could dine earlier than the other sitting . Not a good experience not child friendly we didnt book.
