Staff friendly and food was very good

Steak and Stilton baguette. Get in my belly. Love the lowther arms. Never disappoints nice food and brilliant friendly staff.
Was using regular then had a couple of poor meals so stopped using. We are not ones for complaining but on the one occasion we did as custard was infused with garlic due to dirty uncleaned jug, beef being tough as leather, hard roast potatoes (obviously deep fried) and to top it off was overcharged I was offered the least sincere apology Ive ever had in my life. Shame really as the lost a regular family.
Fantastic food. I like my food well done. I mean WELL DONE.I asked for the Cumberland Sausage and chips both to be well done.It came like I asked absolutely perfect.My wife got the homemade Steak and Ale pie. It was full of steak.Absolutely perfect can't fault it at all. Just go folks you won't regret it.Thanks
